classic cartoon character felix cat According to a new rating revealed on the ESRB, it appears that video games are making a comeback.
The Felix the Cat game for the Switch and several other platforms is described as a “collection of action platformers” where players navigate Felix through various 2D environments as he rescues his girlfriend from an evil professor. Goes on an adventure. Here are the full details:
“It is a collection of action platformers in which players help Felix rescue his girlfriend from an evil professor. Players use gadgets and vehicles (e.g., punching gloves, tanks, submarines) to defeat small cartoony creatures. Traverse through 2D pixelated environments. Enemies usually fall off the screen when hit; some boss encounters feature whimsical pistol attacks, cartoony bombs, and light explosions.”
The rating for all is ‘E’ and the collection reportedly contains some “mild fantasy violence”. The history of Felix the Cat on Nintendo platforms extends back to the NES and Game Boy days (1992/93), with Hudson Soft as its developer.

Konami has already released several other classic collections in recent years. Just last month, it launched Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 on all platforms including Switch.
